  • Abraham Prescott was found guilty of the murder of Sally Cochran in two separate trials held in Concord in Sept. 1834, and Sept. 1835, and was sentenced to be hanged Dec. 23, 1835, in Hopkinton, N.H. The execution was then postponed to Jan. 6, 1836
